December 8, 2000 Marvie day to all! Well, it's sort of a sad day. As many of you know, it's the 20th anniversary of John Lennon's death. However, instead of feeling sad, I have embraced my Beatlemania and taken the opportunity to rent Anthology for the weekend. I also have Help! to keep me company. Yes, I know this is completely off topic but, I just had to share. I hope everyone will take this opportunity to remember the Beatles for their fabulous musicianship. Pick up a copy of "1" and enjoy a lot of Beatles classics. So anyway... back ON topic to the other greatest band in the history of music... the Marvelous 3! In webpage updates: 4 new articles have been added to the Text Interviews section. There's a really great one from Ink 19, 2 articles from Launch back in September, and the latest email from Butch 3 new album reviews are up. See what people are saying about ReadySexGo! 1 new concert review is up from La Crosse, WI. It was sent in by Jeanna, and also will be published in her college's newspaper! She's a great writer, so please check it out! 2 pictures have also been added to the Promotional Pictures section. Check them out, they're really good! Well that's it. Look for more updates soon! Loads of pictures are going to be added in the near future. Keep sending in contributions! Thanks!

Please send all contributions to: In Marvie news: Some of you may have heard that the Marvelous 3 were going to be on Stoned Immaculate, a tribute to the Doors. I know a lot of people have been buying the album expecting to see M3 on it, but finding they were no where to be found on it! Tons of pictures from the shows in Columbia, MO and Hollywood, CA are now up in the concert pictures section! Also, look for a new article in the Scanned Interviews section. More coming soon!
November 12, 2000 Hey everyone! Well as most of you already noticed, Butch's birthday present went up today. October 10, 2000 Two updates in one day? Wow! Well, here's the deal. Last night's concert in Phoenix/Mesa Arizona was cancelled. I heard a LOT of stuff from fans about what supposedly happened. Maybe some of you have too. Butch just sent out an email to the egroups lists explaining their side of the story. I highly recommend reading it. To read the email Butch sent out, click here.
October 10, 2000 Whoa we're slackers! We were supposed to announce the winner of the contest yesterday! I know, I should have done it at work, but I waited 'til I got home and then couldn't do it. WELL! Without further adieu... the winner of the contest is... JILL! I'm not gonna post her last name because I know you all will want to stalk her and steal the bad ass autographed RSG cd that she just won. I will be contacting the other winners because they will also be getting something! So here's the answers to the Contest!

Sugarbuzz will play in its entirety throughout the show, and M3 will perform Cold as Hell at the end. It is scheduled to air November 2nd, during sweeps week. In print news: Look for Marvelous 3 in these magazines: SPIN, STUFF, MAXIM, CMJ FEATURE: BILLBOARD In album news: Yes, during the move we missed announcing that the album was released. Check out the Other Pictures section for a whole NEW part of Marvie World.... Fan Pictures! That's right! Pictures of you and Marvelous 3! You're probably wondering why we didn't stick this in the Fan Corner section... well keep on wondering because I don't have a good explanation. ANYWAY if you want to submit a picture of you and the boys send it over to: and we'll get it up for you to show off and brag to all your friends. That's always fun isn't it? Check for more updates soon!
August 16, 2000 Hi all, so there wasn't a second update last week. But there is a nice one this week! Before I get into what we DID add this week, I want to address what we haven't added and why we haven't put it up. What I am talking about are the ReadySexGo lyrics, especially of the 3 songs that Elektra put out for us to hear. Well, the reason is because we don't want to put up an incorrect interpretation of the lyrics. So, until we get official lyrics we're not going to post them. Thank you to everyone who sent us lyrics, and good job to everyone who sat there and transcribed them! We really appreciate the contributions. So now here's what we DID update: In webpage updates: Audio Interviews was updated with a 6-Part Interview with Slug from NAMM in February. Multimedia was updated with downloadable versions of Sugarbuzz, Radio Tokyo, and Grant Park. You can find these in the "Other" section for now.
August 8, 2000 Wow, so we skipped the entire month of July for an update. Well stuff happens. Since then there has been quite a bit of news! Here it is: The Official Marvelous 3 website has relaunched with a brand new look and soundfiles from the entire album! They sound great! If you haven't headed over there, I recomment that you do! Additionally, there is a video update from Butch that has a lot of news! Butch has his cast off now and is in a walking cast... when he wears it! Word on the 'net is that Butch doesn't like wearing his walking cast and tries to go without! Wear it Butch! Get better soon! The album is looking to be released September 12th. Sugarbuzz has already hit the airwaves! Call up your local radio station and request it today! Marvelous 3 is hitting the road in September! They will make a co-headlining run with SR-71 and Tsar will open. The tour will be starting September 7th and will run through early October. The first of these dates are listed on the tour dates page. Look for more updates later this week, if I am not too lazy! :) June 29, 2000 The new Marvelous 3 are now working again! Yay! If you don't want to trudge all the way to the Elektra site, you can listen to them here in the Multimedia section on the "Other" page.
June 28, 2000 Hi guys. Alright, the new Marvie soundfiles on the Elektra website are no longer functioning. I hope something gets done about it soon, because the songs were REALLY cool... Other than that, we have some news about Butch from our friends at Metal Masters. I reported this earlier, but they have officially released the news now, and have added several more artists. I know lots of you are Chlorine and Fat fans, so you will be pleasantly surprised at the news. Here is the press release from Metal Masters: Our CD review page has become much more interesting and exciting with it's new take to the CD review. Most magazine, newspapers, websites, use journalists, reporters, member of the media, to review newly released CDs. Metal Masters has changed this old method into something fresh and entertaining with artists reviewing artists. Metal Masters has recruited the following rockstars to donate CD reviews to our website: NICKO MCBRAIN - Iron Maiden The celebrated musicians listed above are the Metal Masters CD review team. Reviews from Bruce Kulick and John Corabi have already been posted and we are anxiously awaiting more. Please continue to stop by the CD Review page to see what these artists (and maybe more) have to say about recently released CDs by their peers.
June 27, 2000 What a day today is!! NEW MARVIE SONGS! Woohoo!!! In webpage updates: As I just said, there are 3 studio version songs now available! Thank you much to the Elektra site (who I swiped the links from) for putting them up. The new songs are Sugarbuzz, Radio Tokyo, and Grant Park. You can listen to them in the Multimedia page in the Other section or go to the Elektra Marv 3 website! Text interviews have been updated with 2 new interviews Butch did with Launch.com. Check them out! In album news: Well, I just mentioned the new songs, in addition to that, the tracklisting and a release date have been announced. This is al subject to change of course. The album is scheduled to be out September 12, 2000. The tracklisting is as follows: Little Head
June 23, 2000 TGIF! Hope you enjoy this small, but good, update! In Marvie news: I neglected to report this earlier, but the Me, Myself, and Irene soundtrack is on, and I believe the movie opened today. Pick up the soundtrack for your own personal copy of Marvelous 3's cover of "Reelin' In The Years." That's a Steely Dan cover in case you didn't know or didn't remember. Butch has apparently just agreed to do some cd reviews for the Metal Masters. Besides Butch, musicians such as Bruce Kulick (Union... I highly recommend their new album "The Blue Room", KISS), John Corabi (Union, Motley Crue, The Scream), Stevie Blaze (Near Life Experience, Lillian Axe), John Christ (John Christ, Danzig), Jason McMaster (Godzilla Motor Company, Dangerous Toys), Nicko McBrain (Iron Maiden) will be doing reviews. Metal Masters also has a video interview of Marvelous 3 for sale on their website. Here's a little blurb about their site now:
Are you looking for videos/interviews with your favorite rock or metal band(s)? Look no further, you have found it! METAL MASTERS ~ has what you are craving. METAL MASTERS is a high quality, one-hour, once a week, video/interview, television show in Florida that has been nominated for the past 8 years by Billboard magazine for Best Local/Regional Hard Rock/Metal Video Show in the country. It is a combination of interviews and videos. Check out METAL MASTERS Catalog Of Shows/Interviews at http://www.METALMASTERS.net and then click on "CATALOG OF SHOWS" for a complete list containing interviews with your favorite artist(s), and ordering information. Please don't forget to sign the GUESTBOOK and check out our LINKS page for some great links. In webpage updates: Ok well, this isnt really an "update" but it's my site and I'll do what I want to. :) We wanted to let everyone know, we apologize about the Buy/Swap/Sell page and the Guestbook (do any of you sign that thing anymore?) being down a lot lately. We do have to rely on free services right now because we don't generate any income from the site, and we're not made of money, so we can't be paying for cool and reliable stuff all the time. We don't intend to add any stupid banner ads (except the ones we have to have for using webspace, etc.) and we're not going to do something lame like selling bootlegs to pay for our website. So until we win the lotto, we're stuck. I have actually paid for a guestbook (one of these days I'm really gonna have to learn cgi and code my own darn book), and we're going to try to get it going this weekend. We're also going to try to change B/S/S if we can't resolve the problem with the old one. We really care about this site a lot, and we care about our visitors experiences while on the site, so if you see something not working, or know of any way to improve the site, PLEASE let us know.
June 15, 2000 'ello everyone. Not a big update but an update nonetheless. In webpage updates: We've updated the Links page with some bands associated with M3 and some media links of online stations that play M3.
June 9, 2000 Happy birthday to Slug! That's right, it's our favorite Marvie drummer's birthday! Go check out his present by using the link on the home page. If you haven't signed his birthday card, do it now! Also, we got word back from Butch about the online greeting card everyone signed for him. He asked the word to be passed along, so here it is, straight from him: that card was so sweet!!!! please tell everyone that it
made my year!!!!!!!! Well isn't that sweet? There you have it! Until the next update...
May 24, 2000 Hey hey! Can you believe it? We're actually updating the website again so soon! I know, you are dying from shock, I am too. So on we go... In webpage updates: Well, if we had known a little bit more in advance, we would have posted this. Butch Walker was on CNN's TalkBack Live today discussing the Napster issue. We have added a transcript of the program in the Text Interviews section. Please check it out! Also, please don't forget to sign Butch's Get Well Card!
May 21, 2000 Do you ever believe us anymore when we say tomorrow? Ok, so we're slow. We mean well... seriously! Anyway this is the update you've been waiting for! It's jam packed with lots of stuff for all of you! In Marvie news: As I said in the last update, Butch is injured. Recently he talked about his injury (among other things) in an online chat, check the updates for further info about this. Well, this is not a very fun injury as we've established, so we've started an online Get Well Card for Butch. Please sign it and let him know that you're pulling for him. It will be presented to him at the end of the week (notice we're not saying a date? muahahaha we've learned that lesson) so sign it while you can! In webpage updates: Read the log from Butch's online chat on May 17th! He talks about his injury, the new album, some new tattoos, his pets, etc. You can find it the Text Interviews section. Also, you can see screen stills from the webcam in the Other Pictures section. Pictures from the private PRS Guitars show M3 did in LA in February are now up in the Concert Pictures section. Also, more pictures from Hard Rock RockFest last June have been added. Video of Freak of the Week and I Will Follow (with Collective Soul and Max Collins from Eve 6) live from Hard Rock RockFest last June have been added to the Other Multimedia page. In the Fan Corner Artwork section, Jayce's birthday project has been added. Four pieces of art from our friend Krista have been added. Additionally, this is old news, but (uhm... yeah you know how we are about that!) the chatroom is back in action. You can access it from the Official Marvelous 3 site or from the Chat section in the Fan Corner.
May 10, 2000 Ok so I lied when I said "tomorrow" about the update. Actually it's still not here but maybe next week. As for now, I'm sick and want to crawl into bed and never leave, so all of you will have to wait. Sorry. Jenn will be updating the page with something special for all of you to participate in probably tonight. Maybe tomorrow. But anyway here's my part... In Marvie news: Well I'm sure everyone's heard by now, but if you haven't, Butch has been injured. He tore his Achilles Tendon after landing wrong on a jump at the Dothan show May 6th. This is quite a serious injury. I won't explain it in detail here because some of you may not want to hear it, but take my word on it, it's not good at all. I've heard that the Sports Medicine Specialist from the Atlanta Braves may be taking a look at it. This is not confirmed though. Butch is supposed to be having surgery tomorrow. I don't know exactly how long he will be out of commission, but it's safe to say he won't be back soon. All of here at Marvie World send out our love, support, and happy thoughts to Butch. Get well soon!!! If you want to find out more about Achilles Tendon Injuries you can read about it at Health Gate.
May 3, 2000 Hi all! Lots of news today, and a decent ammount of web updates. Ok, so the page SHOULD have been updated a long time ago but well... stuff happens! Look for another update, possibly tomorrow if my work load isn't too bad. In Marvie news: Word on the street is the album is done. Those who've heard it say it's great! As if it wouldn't be! The new album will have a few guests on it. Among them are Roger Manning (Jellyfish, Imperial Drag) playing keyboards, as well as some of the guys from Buckcherry and Lit who will play guitar and do some backing vocals on some tracks. In other album news, but not the new M3 album, the band Orgy has asked Butch to sing on their new album. Can't wait for that one either! Marvelous 3 recorded a cover of a Steely Dan song, "Reelin' in the Years" for an upcoming Jim Carrey movie called Me Myself and Irene. Apparently someone in the movie is a big Steely Dan fan (oh god, why? why???) because besides M3 covering that song, there are also covers done by Smashmouth, Wilco, Ivy, Brian Setzer Orchestra, Push Stars, and Ben Folds Five. The film opens on June 23rd but you can buy the soundtrack starting June 13th. "Freak of the Week" is being used in the movie trailer for the upcoming Columbia film Loser. In webpage updates: Lots of tour dates have been added. All you lucky people in the Southeast, especially in the Carolinas! A sound file of the Marvelous 3 cover of "Reelin' In The Years" has been added to the "Other" Multimedia page. Three more album reviews have been added to the Reviews page. Coming soon, pictures from the LA show in February!
April 18, 2000 Happy Birthday Jayce!!! Yup, today is the big day! We here at Marvie World (and our good friend Janelle) have made Jayce a couple of little presents. Also, we asked all of you to sign his birthday card. We hope that it turns out to be a big success and everyone likes it. Especially the man of the day, Jayce. Happy birthday Jayce. Uhm ok so we lied about getting big updates over the weekend. Ritz Camera still hasn't gotten my picture cd back so ya'll are gonna have to wait a bit longer. Sorry 'bout that! But you have the collage to keep you busy! Thanks all! Have a great day!
April 13, 2000 Hello again! Small update. Look forward for some BIG ones coming this weekend! Well, maybe not BIG but important! In webpage updates: Tour dates were updated yet again! Plus, more detailed added on some of the existing dates!
April 6, 2000 Hi all you Marvie Worlders! Can you believe the page is actually getting updated somewhat regularly again? I know, I'm dying of shock too. In webpage updates: Tour dates were updated with 2 new shows. *sigh* No respect I say, they're all on the other side of the country from me! I think it's time for a West Coast Tour! WCT!!! Uhm ok, I realize only very few people (Janelle) know what the hell I'm talking about, but I felt like venting. Ok I'm done now.
April 3, 2000 Hello all! Just a tiny little update here... In webpage updates: A nicer copy of Grant Park from the Roxy in Atlanta has been uploaded to take the place of the previous version. Also, we've added a copy of Mrs. Jackson from Rockline. It is acoustic, with Butch and his guitar only. He throws in a bit of Mrs. Robinson in there which makes the song even cooler. Check it out! I finally realized that *duh* I had a nice typo in my profile on the Webmaster section, so my question about Arnold and Webster finally makes sense, in case anyone cares. Also I added more info on Steve Isaacs in my profile since people kept going "who?" Yeah yeah it's not M3 related, but I thought it was cool.
March 26, 2000 Thanks everyone who's visited and left us some lovely comments! We appreciate it a lot! We have made some tweaks and corrections to the site from your comments. Thanks a lot! One of the most asked question was, what happened to Marvie chat? Well it seems the chat program that's used on the official website, IRC Ram-page, is no more! They decided not to tell anyone either so it came as a big surprise to all of us! We are helping to search for a new chatroom. If anyone has any good suggestions for a chatroom that is web-based please email us and we will pass it along to fizz over on the Official Marvelous 3 site. A great feature would be that it would also be accessible through IRC but we can live without that if we must. In webpage updates: The Multimedia section has been greatly added to! Clips from the ever elusive indie Hey!Album have been added to the Hey!Album page. Fan Corner now has "JayceAmp" which we finished tweaking. We're very sorry it didn't make the debut of the website. Also, readded Butch's Birthday Collage to the Artwork section. Look for some new wallpaper coming soon!
March 23, 2000 Happy Birthday to us! It is Marvie World's one year anniversary! To commemorate this momentous occasion we have decided to launch the redesign of our website! We hope you like it, and will express your opinions on it in our guestbook or messageboard. Before we talk about the new updates we want to take a little walk down memory lane and recap what's happened to this site in the past year. Don't worry, we won't make it TOO long! We launched this site exactly one year ago today. Since then it's grown into one of the most comprehensive Marvelous 3 websites on the Internet. We've had some very important sites link to us and use as reference for articles on M3. We've been approached by the likes of Hard Rock International to promote Hard Rock RockFest and Rolling Stone to provide questions for an online interview. We have had members of the band support our website by signing our guestbook. Additionally we have had well over 10 thousand hits to our main page. Marvie World has also been a keen source for providing news and information to Marvelous 3 fans all over the Internet. That was our main goal, and we feel it's something we've accomplished with great satisfaction. Thank you for visiting Marvie World, you've helped to make it what it is today. In webpage updates: Well, as we just said we have redesigned the website. We hope it will be easier for you, our visitors, to navigate through. If you see anything wrong, bad links, typos, etc. please let us know by emailing us and we will fix it immediately! While we have spent a lot of time transferring data to the new site, we have not had a lot of time to add new items to the page. However, some of the new things you can look for right now is a new Band Bio as well as interviews with both Butch and Jayce. We will be getting an interview with Slug as soon as we can! Also, look at the new Fan Corner, which is a completely new part of Marvie World. In it you can find how to join mailing lists, chat with other M3 fans, get some new wallpaper, download new Marvelous 3 winamp skins, and view the artwork of other fans! In case any of you feel like stalking Jenn and I, or you don't but you want to know more about our wonderful selves, the Webmasters page has been updated with new photos and new profiles on the two of us. In upcoming updates: Look forward to new things being added all the time! Concert pictures from shows from the industry-only show in LA at The Whisky A Go Go, the last show of the tour in Spartanburg, and last year's show in Houston. Also be checking for more concert reviews. We are also working on adding more sound files. The Fan Corner will be getting more art as we create it and as you send it in. That's it for now! Thank you for making this a great year for Marvie World. We appreciate it a lot! Sorry for being so cheezy! Kristie & Jenn
March 1, 2000 Hi all! We're such slackers, we didn't update the page in over a month! Well... ok there really hasn't been much going on. Be sure to look for the new website, we're aiming for this month. This time we MEAN it. Almost all of the artwork has been finished, we're just lazy asses about converting it all! We want to take a second to thank everyone who's visited the page, it's almost been a whole year! We've had 10,000 hits to our main page already, which is something we are VERY proud of. Thanks to all of you! Sign the guestbook!!! Anyway, here's what's going on in the world of Marvie and Marvie World. In Marvie News: Check out the March 2000 issue of Vogue Magazine! Page 492 has an article on the fabulous, wonderful, MARVELOUS 3. (Ok we're cheezy, we admit it) Log on to the Official Marvelous 3 site starting Friday afternoon (yes that's THIS Friday) until Sunday. There will be a live webcam from the Marvies' recording studio! I know you've all been dying for this look into what happens inside their studio, maybe we'll all be witness to another little gem like we have at the end of Lemonade, or all we could see is Butch picking his nose or something, but hey, that's cool too! In Webpage Updates: Thank GOD! We finally got rid of that piece of crap excuse for a messageboard we once had. We were gonna wait to unveil it for the new site, but the board pissed me off one too many times so I said screw it. I also said it was going to be up last week, but I'm a slacker, haven't you noticed? January 18, 2000 Hey hey! It's the first update of the new year! Ok so we were hoping to have the new site for you by now, but shit happens. ANYWAY... I have 2 very important pieces of news. First off: HAPPY BIRTHDAY JENN!!!!! Yes, it is that wonderful day again! Jenn's birthday! Jenn is now 21 years old now, so if you are underage and you ever run into her, she'll use her new powers to buy you beer! LOL In Marvie News: Two 1 minute long samples from the upcoming M3 album, tentatively titled "readysexgo," have been uploaded othe Official Marvelous 3 site. However, don't go running there quite yet. The links haven't been added to the pages yet! However I do have permission to share them with all you happy Marvie fans... so now you can listen to mp3's of clips of Grant Park (the studio version) and My Little Head (a new song)! Also, word is the album will be out in late spring/ early summer! Keep an eye out!
